These are the terms and condition of use of the cards which you sell. It is a secure part of the website only for the customers (Merchants or Resellers) of cards4all products. Card Replacement
If for whatever reason a card needs to be replaced, these are some helpful hints to get it done quickly and easily. Remember that Gift Cards are a single load card. So we can’t alter the loaded value of a card once it has been loaded (this is part of the legal definition of a Gift Card). This means that a Gift Card cannot have value added onto it, after the first time.
MERCHANT to RE-ISSUE CARD
1) The funds from a working card can be quickly and easily collected by your EFTPOS terminal. Simply swipe the card as normal and redeem the funds as any purchase. These funds will be transfered to your EFTPOS account. Now you may load the re-issued card with the balance desired and provide that to your customer.
Costs: just the standard load and redemption fees for the cards
2) Alternatively, if the card does not work or you cannot otherwise redeem the loaded value of the card, you may return the card to us so that Cards4all, we will look into this and normally we would transfer the funds to another card. Please nominate that card number for us, also.
Costs: just standard load and redemption fees for the cards PLUS card closure fee
3) Another Alternative is to have US provide a replacement card to your customer, again we will need an explanation of why, the card number, PIN number, serial number PLUS the name and address of the recipient of the card.
Costs: standard load and redemption fees for the cards and card closure fee PLUS card replacement fee.
** Please note that the replacement card is likely to a Cards4all branded “With Compliments” card which can be used at any eftpos terminal.
